A fractal vise is an innovative tool designed by applying fractal geometry principles, featuring self-similar geometric structures on its jaws and clamping surfaces. This design enables adaptive clamping force, uniform pressure distribution, extensive contact points, and anti-slippage and anti-damage capabilities, allowing it to securely hold workpieces of arbitrary shapes
Through this article, you will learn how to use a 3D printer to make a useful fractal jaw for the makagic smart vise. Let's get started:
1. Let's see what we need to prepare:

2. Download the fractal jaws model for free from the website.
3. Unzip the downloaded file and print it out with a 3D printer.
Suggestion: Layer height set to 0.08mm. Enable supports
4. Remove the support structures from the 3D print, and assemble the parts according to the instructions in the download file.
5.Remove the steel jaws of the makagic smart vise, and install the 3D printed fractal jaws as shown in the picture.
6.Installation is complete, enjoy using it. Is it not very easy?
7.If you want to experience a more robust fractal Jaws, you can also choose to purchase our fractal jaws. It is made of metal and is more precise and harder
