  • Photos and exported files: Photos, annotations, and exported files are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share or export them yourself.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide Bluetooth measurement features.
  • Save and organize your room, height, and notebook records.
  • Allow optional cloud sync across your devices.
  • Help you recover or access your account.
  • Improve app reliability and support user requests.
  • Maintain account security and service operation.

3. Cloud Sync

Cloud sync is optional. If you choose to sign in and use cloud sync, selected data categories may be uploaded to our cloud service and associated with your account.

You may choose which categories to sync, such as room data, height data, or record notebooks. Photos, image annotations, and exported files are intended to remain on your device and are not synced by default.

4. Bluetooth and Device Permissions

The app uses Bluetooth permission to discover and connect to the MakaGiC L7 device. Bluetooth data is used only to receive measurement values from the device and provide app features.

The app may request other permissions, such as photo or camera access, only when needed for related features. Permission access is controlled by your device settings.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Account passwords are stored using secure hashing methods. Sync data is associated with your account and stored on our cloud server.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only when necessary to:

  • Provide app and cloud sync services.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Protect the rights, safety, or security of users, MakaGiC, or others.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and synced data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

Data stored only on your device remains under your control. You may delete local data in the app or remove the app from your device.

  • Use the app without signing in for local measurement and record features.
  • Choose whether to enable cloud sync.
  • Select which data categories to sync.
  • Delete local records in the app.
  • Contact us to request account or cloud data deletion.

9. Children’s Privacy

The app is not intended to collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

10. International Use

Your information may be processed and stored in locations where our servers or service providers operate. By using the app, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country or region.
