Used the MakaGiC L7 during a door installation job. It’s compact, easy to handle with gloves on, and much faster than pulling out a tape measure. Great for quick distance and space measurements on site.

It really is a brilliant device. The only thing I miss is the hole for a lanyard.

To be honest, this laser measure is definitely faster and more convenient than a traditional one. I used it on an active construction site, and it made checking distances and heights much easier, especially when working by myself.

I’ve been using the MakaGiC L7 for basic room measurements and layout checks, and overall it has been a very useful tool.
What I like most is the spatial measurement feature. It lets me measure between two points without having to physically reach both ends, which is very helpful for ceilings, walls, and hard-to-reach areas.
There is a small learning curve, especially for the space measurement mode, and it works best when you hold the device steady and avoid very strong sunlight.
But after a few tries, the results are consistent and much faster than using a tape measure in many situations.
