Hi everyone,
It’s time to share another update on our progress.
First, we’d like to share some good news:The first batch of 50 units is expected to begin assembly next Monday, after which shipping can start. If everything goes smoothly, the remaining 1,500 units will also be shipped soon after. We have prepared materials for 2,000 units in total. To be safe, we will first assemble 50 units to run through the entire process.
Next, here’s what we’ve been working on recently:
Since the holiday ended, our team quickly resumed work and began preparing for production. We first completed the final round of testing for L7, including EMC testing, packaging drop tests, and accuracy tests. All performance results were very good and meet the standards required for mass production. But these tests were conducted at an external laboratory, so we were unable to take photos, and the test reports will take some time to be delivered.
We also spent about a week waiting for our suppliers in China to resume production. Once they were back, we placed orders for 2,000 sets of materials. As of today, most materials have already arrived at our warehouse. The remaining items — PCBA, foam, and batteries — have not yet arrived, but are expected to be delivered by the end of this week. That’s why we’re on track to start assembling the first batch next Monday.

n addition, considering that there are currently no laser measuring tools on the market with the same functionality, we understand that it may not be immediately intuitive to use. To help everyone get started more easily, our team has created a Quick Start Guide:

If you find it difficult to use the device after receiving it, please be sure to follow the instructions in the guide. We also kindly ask for your patience — it may take a bit of time for the product to fully become your ideal companion.
During the time we were waiting for suppliers, we also began preparing future upgrades for L7. We are currently developing an upgrade assistant, which will allow you to update L7 with new features in the future. We do not treat L7 as a one-time product — it will continue to be maintained and improved over time. The upgrade assistant is still under development and is not yet available to share. For now, you can refer to the upgrade assistant of our other product VS01. We would also appreciate any suggestions to help us improve further.

In addition, we have spent a significant amount of time optimizing mass production. We have iterated two versions of our SOP to improve production efficiency, and this should be reflected in next week’s assembly. We will share more about this in the next update.
The next update is expected at the end of next week, where we will report on mass production and shipping progress.
Finally, we would like to remind everyone that some time has passed since we collected your shipping information. If your address has changed, please contact us as soon as possible so we can ensure your L7 is delivered correctly.
We may also confirm your shipping address by email before dispatch. More details will be shared in the next update. Thank you for your patience and support.
We truly appreciate your understanding, and thank you again for waiting.
That’s all for this update.
